Abstract

There are several researches on annotation, but most of them have strong restrictions on types ofcontents. On the ground of difference of annotation format, we can not deal with different types of contents andtheir annotations simultaneously. Therefore we have been developing an integrated annotation platform thatis applicable to any kinds of digital contents. First, we propose a format of annotation data and its schema todeal with content structures and individual interpretations. Next, we describe several functions of the platformto create/share/retrieve annotations and their schemas.
