A Study on Sharing and Reuse of Experience Content in Personal Intelligent Vehicles

Abstract

AT (Attentive Townvehicle) is a personal intelligent vehicle that adaptsto a person who is the passenger and an environment that surrounds thevehicle, and can behave cooperatively through the communication betweenvehicles.Change of environment along with the movement, AT canproccess information implicitly.As a result, AT can provide us with some appropriate information services according to the real-world situation and the context at that time. Via communicaiton networks among ATs and some servers, a server that collects information about the surroundings and delivers them, and it provides some server-client applications.We aim to record personal experience data using information that depends on the real-world situation by using AT as a new communication medium,and develop a system that shares and reuses such experience data.

In this study, we define the experience as ``a set of subjective interpretations about personal behavior''. We create an integrated multi-source content called an experience content, adding the interpretation as the experience and the information forsharing according to the various contextual information acquired by AT,for instance, movement or communication history, and so on. Based on the platform to share the experience contents, given the tools forauthoring of experience content, the users can arrange their own experiences. Moreover, experience contents in the form of the diary can be shared inconsideration of the users' friendships.Furthermore, two or more experience contents can be combined accordingto the preference of the users, and we can refer to it for our future actions in the real world.

In addition, we have developed a reliving support system as an example application archived by sharing experience contents.The system supports the users to make some experiences in the real world.It helps the users' experiences by using results of integrated twoor more contents of themselves or others.As a result, the users will be presented the information in appropriate timing and the status of the experience can be inspected on a mapthough the system.When reliving using the system, various contextual information are recorded, and can create the experience contents of this reliving, too.
