In the project in the enterprise and the research consortium in the laboratory, we continuously discuss a certain specific theme to exchange ideas and deliberate it, and do Knowledge activity that aims at the problem solving. The act of requesting a novel idea by divergent thinking and convergent thinking is done when grappling with a difficult problem to solve in a past technique. We can expect that the problem is multilaterally analyzed and a better solution is obtained by not only thinking privately but also exchanging opinions together with others.
In this research, we focus attention on the creative discussion, in which we do both divergent thinking and convergent thinking at the conference in the know ledge activity. We consider and build the system which makes the result of a creative discussion reusable by supporting recording minute of discussion which is done with whiteboard.
We need to comprehend the context of a discussion in detail to use the result of a creative discussion. The minute has time data and text data that the participants gave manually in addition to audiovisual data and stoke data drawn on the whiteboard that was able to record automatically by this system while discussing it. We propose the technique for giving the minute structural data semi automatically by combining them. It needs a lot of time though we can confirm the context of a discussion in detail. Then, by giving structural data which has index data of the audiovisual data to the main point of the discussion, we can understand the context of the discussion more in detail by short time. By bringing down the cost to give structural data by using stroke data, we can make the minutes without disturbing a creative discussion.
Moreover, we confirm that the content of a discussion can be understood at shorter time by adopting the technique for confirming the content at short time after the discussion. In this paper, the technique is called "Reflection".
When confirming the minute recorded by using this system, you can confirm the outline of the discussion by choosing an index data from the list of structure data. A part of figures and index data is associated. Stroke data, keyword, utterance section data and touch sensor data are recorded with time data. They can be used as clue to retrieve the audiovisual data.
